Should all Swiss born residents living in the US be deported due to the "Holyfield incident"?
The United States needs a 3 part plan in dealing with the robbery of Evander Holyfield in today's boxing match. 1. The loss of US citizenship, or rights to future US Citizenship, for all Swiss born residents. 2. 250,000 American troops at the Swiss border. 125,000 on the French side and 125,000 on the German side. 3. Strategic air strikes to areas of Switzerland that have no people or animals. Perhaps we have a security team go in first to clear out areas that are to be bombed. Remember, we want to be clear and rational here. After these steps have been taken, we will petition the WBA to reverse the ruling and declare Holyfield the winner. Is this plan of action sufficient, or do we need to go further? Thanks! Wow. The Politics room has a better sense of humor. I wouldn't have thought that the case.

it not that funny

holyfield is 46 years old and he sleepwalked through the second half of the fight. like all older fighters, he's primarily in it for the paycheck. i don't think the swiss deserve any grief for this; maybe for the fact that their banks enable rich americans to dodge taxes (and we're helping to bail out these banks with the money that the remaining honest taxpayers are paying).

Absolutely, They should make it a rule that European fighters have to score a knockout to win a fight, that was not so much European as it was Valuev was a King fighter, the whole crowd was cheering Evander and were pissed when the decision was announced. That had to be one of the worst, top 10 decisions in boxing history, at least that come to mind. When they announced the 114 114 you seen Evanders face drop, he knew the fix was in. And those idiots come on here asking why guys like Jones never went to Europe to fight Calzaghe, or why American fighters dont like to fight over there, well there ya go.

I personally don't think the Swiss have to pay for the broken plates. The judges should be lynched for that piece of SHI... gift decision. That is just ridiculous. One of the worst decisions I've ever seen. The fight was bad, but the decision was simply an insult. What a beautiful way to end the year for boxing.

To anyone that blames the Swiss for this...YOU ARE AN IDIOT! The only thing that Switzerland provided for the bout was the arena. The bout was sanctioned by an Austrian governing body. The bout could not be sanctioned by the Swiss because in Switzerland a boxer can only fight until the age of 35. Also IF it had been Swiss officiating the result would have most likely been quite different, did you not here the cries and cheers for holyfield and the booing for Valuev. Learn the facts first and open your eyes.

None of the judges who scored the fight were from switzerland. One judge was even from panama. It was a b.s. decision but honestly this is boxing and this isn't the first or last fucked up robbery we will see.
