Swiss Question pleasae help?
My relatives did at one time live in Switzerland.I wan't to find out about my relatives.I had heard that the Swiss are very good record keepers and that a persons records travel with them.Is this true?I want to get me relatives passport and Visa and also Swiss army records.How do i do this?

Your question is twofold: You want info about your relatives and obviousely also a Swiss passport. To tell you the truth: Yahoo is not the place to get really satisfactory answers for such matters. I heavily recommend you to get into touch with the Swiss consulate in your own country. They are specialized in answering all the questions you have and that you might have in the future. As for army records: Besides the grade your relative might have had, you won't get any information - the Swiss army is a very neurotic organization and therefore isn't eager to pass on more than what it thinks is necessary.
