yes but it must be in your checked luggage.

Remember they are strict rules anywhere.... if they check your luggage on the Arrival Hall and they may remove the Swiss Army Knife or even Departure under in the Luggage Screen...

I am not sure. The rules are that you can't but, my lil' sis brought 3 pocket knives with her.

You could try to get it on through your luggage, however, be willing to have it taken away from you when you go. They have let things slip for me in the past, like a pocketknife in my checked suitcase but it's always a risk. That being said, it is definately not allowed. Peace

Yes, you can pack a Swiss Army knife in your checked luggage. Done it many times, including recently.

Of course you can. You can take almost anything in your checked baggage, as long as it isn't an illegal knife like a butterfly knife or switch blade. I actually carried a machete back from Papua. LOL.

Yes, it can be in your checked luggage. www.tsa.gov

Yes, you can take it in your checked luggage. Here is a link to the TSA prohibited items list, note that under the first section (Sharp Objects) knives are not permitted in carry-on luggage, but ARE permitted in checked luggage: http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm#9

I fly out of Logan all the time for flights overseas. I always have a Swiss Army knife in my checked in bag. There is no problem with a knife in a CHECKED IN BAG (divers bring knives often.) Many travelers are technicians and they have knives and other cutting tools in their checked in luggage. I also bring small scissors with me in the checked in bag too! Regardless of how long these TSA rules have been in place when I go through the TSA security checks I always notice confiscated knives, huge containers of perfume or other liquids and other items that can be used as weapons. Double check the TSA regulations if you haven't flown recently. Just flew back from overseas late last night, came in to Boston again. Good luck.

You better get some decent advise on that, because if it's a good Swiss army knife, it be a shame, if it was confiscated. things are changing with air lines to airlines and from year to year. I come from Switzerland and my son brought back 2 Swiss Army knifes last year, they were both in his hand luggage. they were inherited, and used and I still don't know how he managed to get through with them, they showed up but when he explained where he got them from they let him through. Very lucky, well he has an innocent face, although he isn't sooo innocent
