Is it easier to live in England with...?
Is it easier to live or apply to work/live in England if you have a European citizenship rather than a north american one? ( I am Canadian and Swiss, dual citizenship. ) I was born in Switzerland. Also, a side question, how much do small apartments cost on average in London, you can answer in pounds but if you could tell me in American or Canadian dollars that would be awesome.

Don't take this the wrong way but are you sure you're a Swiss citizen? Are your parents Swiss? I ask because a large number of people posting questions on Yahoo assume birth alone in a country makes them a citizen, in Switzerland in common with many other European states in order to obtain Swiss citizenship at birth your parents must be Swiss To answer your question, having citizenship of an EU member state makes it easier to get into the UK - Switzerland is not an EU member state, it is however a member of the EEA & Swiss citizens have more or less the same rights with regard to living & working in the UK http://www.ukvisas.gov.uk/en/ukvqr?redirect=true&promoId=1910262&reason=Work&nationality=Switzerland&location=Canada If, however, you are not a Swiss citizen then you will require a visa to live & work in the UK The costs of renting a flat/apartment vary widely in London, it depends on where you want to live, how much you earn - if you're going to earn less then £25,000 a year telling you how much it costs to rent a flat in Chelsea won't help. If you look at websites like the Gum Tree or Hot Property it'll give you an idea of the type of accommodation that's available.
