Do my Swiss/American citizen children, born and living in CH, have to register with the IRS in the future

Do my Swiss/American citizen children, born and living in CH, have to register with the IRS in the future?
I am a native American & Naturalized Swiss. My children were all born in Switzerland and have always lived here. They all have double citizenship. Are they obliged to register with the IRS in the states once they begin having income? Will they be bound, as I, to pay double taxes when their income surpasses the standard deduction? ($80,000 I believe)

I believe they will need to get an ITIN to file as long as they do not live in the USA BUT yes they are required to pay taxes just as you do.

You know that you do not pay "double taxation", rather the maximum of the Swiss and the US rates. Your kids need SSNs just like you.
