I would like to join the Swiss army how will this effect my U.S. Citizenship?
I have a dual citizenship U.S. and Switzerland. Live in the U.S. but in a few years I am planning on joining the Swiss military, just go through the training 20 weeks i think. Will this effect my U.S. citizenship, chances of joining the U.S. army ever or anything else Thanks... really want to know if i can join the u.s. army later, be great if anyone had info on that

Not at all, unless Switzerland declares war on the U.S.A.. Part of the warning on your passport is that if one takes up arms for a country hostile to the US, you are no longer considered a citizen. Then again, it's not exactly enforced. What was the name of that 'American Taliban' kid? And he was brought back to the USA. Put on trail, but he's is still a citizen of the country.
