In the state where i live Utah all the city's have different festivals and fairs like swiss days strawberry days etc now what about where you live do they have city celebrations

Well we have Rodeos from time to time... uhm We have a cemetery walk for Halloween. A Halloween costume parade and contest for little kids.

theres a festival here in august every year but it sucks, in a city close to where i live theres a great music festival called roskilde, never been there though

In the summer, our city has a hot air balloon festival. I try to go to it every year, if only to eat barbecue and kettle corn. The best part is when the balloons fly overhead and the sky is filled with dozens of them as you drive through town.

Absolutely! There's tons of them...like The Taro Festival, Aloha Week, Maui Film Festival, Orchid and Flower Fairs.... and the Kapalua Wine and Food Festival is coming in June....now that's one to go to! I can't wait!

Hi Debby, I live in a small country town..I have to go into Marysville,a bigger town,they have a Peach festival,Chinese have their independent and dragon dance,Santa's paraded,and for the fair,we have to cross a bridge into Yuba City,for the fair.. Your Friend, poppy1

Yes, even the City suburbs have the odd bash! There is a large fair or more like Carnival here in Auckland at the show grounds every Easter, it has become synonymously named the 'Easter Show'.

Debby,in Manchester England,there are always fairs around,but in the Town center ,every year there is a big festival,plenty of people go there,take care Debbs my friend.

New Orleans has a festival about every other week it seems. We just had the French Quarter Festival and The Strawberry Festival and now Jazz Fest comes up next week. It's not just Jazz but all kinds of music. From Big Stars like Bon Jovi and Arcade Fire down to the great local music we have.

Yes we have many right here, like a block from my house. They have art fairs, they have the Cottonwood festival, and many many others, some even have some pretty good bands too! But today is so hot I would not want to be at one..LOL! Oh the wildflower festival...I cannot even remember all of them right now, but we sure have a bunch, it is nice. :)
