why do europeans want to be citizen of america?
especially british,french,swiss,spanish...why these people want to live in america?

Because there is no other country that offers what the USA has to offer.

Why do you think that? I'm from England and i like living in Canada. I would never move to the USA.

They don't. The ones who do end up in the USA, the vast majority can't wait to get the he** outta dodge once they have lived there a short while. My husband is British. We lived in the US for a while. We got to know other Brits as well while there. Sad thing is, we couldn't make long term friends..because the all kept leaving and returning home. The reason they "think" they want to live in the USA is the same reasons Americans think the USA is the best country in the world. Propaganda. Nothing more, nothing less. In reality, the USA is closer to a 3rd world country and it is to a modern, progressive developed country. Donna

I know many people from France living in the US and none want US citizenship, and the ones that did ? Have children in the US. Some have the citizenship so they can live in either country. Many have different reasons for coming to the US, mostly for money opportunities.

Trust me as a British man, I would never want U.S citizenship.
