You can ski on all the snow in the world.

It's notoriously difficult to get Swiss citizenship so you're lucky! Yes, Switzerland is not in the EU but has many trade agreements with the rest of Europe. Among other things, being a Swiss citizen means you can't be deported from Switzerland (so you can hide there if you are in trouble) - but men are obliged to do military service! Certainly there wouldn't be any reason to give up your Swiss passport, it might be useful one day... like if you lost your RSA passport and had 20 minutes before boarding a flight :)

It is very, very hard to get Swiss citizenship so you are very lucky. If things do well there for you in S. Africa, then you always have the option of packing up and move to Switzerland. It is one of the most stable and economically prosperous countries in the world.

Switzerland is not part of the EU, and probably never will be. A Swiss passport is among the most advantageous in the world (among the least visa requirements).
