I received this watch in about 1970 from my aunt who had lived in Saudi Arabia. The watch has glow in the dark features for the numbers and hands. I believe the numerals may be Arabic.

My answer's off topic, but Arabic numerals are actually what's now used in the Western World, i.e. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 whereas what you have on your watch (cant type them here as Yahoo does not support them) are Hindu-Arabic numerals.
