Is anyone else cheering for Switzerland in the World Cup?
I am also cheering for the USA but why does it seem that no one cares about Switzerland? Maybe there are just no people with Swiss heritage where I live. Does anyone on Yahoo support the Schweizer Nati? Lauren that Neutral thing was funny! My parents are Swiss thats why I'm cheering for them to WIN THE WORLD CUP!

Lets see. I don't cheer for switzerland because there's nothing that ties me to that country in any particular way. I cheer for Portugal because I'm Portuguese, I cheer for Mexico for very personal reasons, and I cheer for Brazil because they are our 'siblings'. Nothing against Switzerland, I quite like the country and the people in fact, I just don't have any reason to cheer for them.

Yes I do, one of my friend is Swiss, he is a big supporter of Sepp Blatter, who is also a Swiss. I am sure he cares allot for his home team and expects a victory from them. The Swiss team only needs to win another game and they are through to the next round, but only if they score many goals and hope that Spain beats there last opponent, Chile by many goals. Tony M

I visited Interlaken and Zurich when I was a kid. I love Swiss chocolate, and furthermore, they have big cheese. Go Swiss Go Swiss Go Switzerland!
