Would you Sale your vote to the highest bidder?
On one hand I could sale my vote for several billion dollars. (and that is in today's values, if we are talking about the future I would want the the amount of money that would have the same purchasing power in the future as it does today) Enough so that I could put it in a Swiss bank account and live in another country. Because personally I cant imagine what sort of regime I would be subject to if I sold my vote. What about you, would you be willing to sell you vote to anyone for a price? I once heard a story that Lincoln was asked by a man to do something unethical for a price. The man started naming prices. Finally Lincoln punched him. The bartender asked "Did he finally insult you enough?" Lincoln replied "No he was getting to close to my price"

A vote is a political right and should not be for sale. If you sell your vote you are selling your right. The candidate chosen could be a dictator and the amount you received might not be enough to pay for your life.

I didn't read all the crap you typed. Just your question. The answer is "NO YOU MORON". People died so that I have the right to vote. People die every day so that I continue to have the right to vote. No amount of money is worth their sacrifice.

Yes I would. I see voting more as my duty as an American rather than each vote counting, so I would sell it. But I think the repurcussions are around 3-5 years in federal prison. A former teacher of mine once lived in a foriegn country, and she recieved both a ballot at her parent's house and at her residence in the foriegn country. She had the oppurtunity to cast two votes. When she asked the class if they would capitalize on this oppurtunity at risk of incarceration, around half said yes. So my point is, there are many people who have beliefs so rigid, they would attempt that, and I'm not one of them. So, that's why I'd sell my vote for $25,000 minimum. And the teacher only cast one vote.
