If you are a retired lawyer, you should know right off where to look for these things, or who to ask. duh

If you lawyer, I guess you know the way how to do all that. What about Swiss Embassy? Ask them....

There was a Lawyer, and English Teacher, and a Translator on a plane to Switzerland...... (never mind.) Immigration as a worker to Switzerland seems to be similar to US and Canadian immigration: the employer must sponsor you. You can't just fly in and start working. To simply retire there, you have to be at least 55, meet certain income requirements and you have to agree to live there at least half of the year.
